Sep 4 AI Model Tracker: OpenAI added GPT-6 Astra to its model and pricing documentation, and the tracker now carries it as a draft. The docs list a 1,050,000 token context window, 128,000 maximum output tokens, text and image input with text output, and an April 30, 2026 knowledge cutoff. Pricing is $10 per million input tokens, $1 for cached input, and $50 for output. OpenAI states the model is rolling out to enterprises in its Trusted Access Program. GPT-5.6 Sol remains listed as a flagship model with no deprecation label, so its row is unchanged.
Jul 29 AI Funding Tracker: Meshy moves from draft to published. The company own release, issued 21 July through PR Newswire, names a Series B at a 1.5 billion dollar valuation but states the amount only as nearly 400 million dollars, and no exact figure exists anywhere public: meshy.ai carries no funding post and EDGAR holds no Form D. The row therefore publishes with its amount deliberately absent rather than rounded up, following the tracker rule that absence beats approximation.
Jul 29 AI Regulation Tracker: Tracker launch: 13 jurisdictions, verified against primary instruments on publication day. Three regimes are in force (China, South Korea, Japan) and the EU applies in part, with high-risk duties deferred to December 2027 by the 2026 Omnibus. Brazil is the only bill mid-passage. Most jurisdictions still regulate through principles or sector rules rather than an AI act, and only the EU and South Korea currently attach fines to a general AI law.
