The biggest star in all of sport proves to be gold for entertainment value as well as Olympic sprints, so it’s no surprise to see the face of London 2012 rewarded with a motion-length feature film to underline his legendary journey.

‘Usain Bolt: The Movie’ was filmed over a 12 month period leading up to this year’s Olympic Games and examines the athlete both at home with his friends and family, as well as on the running track in different events throughout the year.

This documentary, directed by Frenchman Gaël Leiblang, had an abridged version aired on BBC1 in their run-up to the Olympics and raked in over three million viewers, but the DVD includes 25 minutes worth of unseen footage and is a wonderfully intimate portrait of the larger-than-life Bolt.
