Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer is out. Following a period of exclusives for part of the Spider-Man: No Way Home post-credits sequence, Marvel has put their first trailer of the upcoming Doctor Strange movie online for all to enjoy. The biggest revelation was it reveals that Benedict Cumberbatch has (at the at the very least) two roles in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in which he will play two different versions of Doctor. Stephen Strange/ Doctor Strange -and one of them could be the movie\’s main antagonist. This Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer also showcases Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) dressed in a Scarlet Witch costume, and Strange\’s lover the Dr. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) being married to someone different from Strange likely.
\”Don\’t cast that spell, it\’s too dangerous,\” Wong (Benedict Wong) says at the beginning of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer. When Strange is puzzled, Wong adds: \”We tampered with the stability of spacetime.\” Then, Strange repeats his Spider-Man\”No Way Home line: \”The multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little.\” Strange\’s nemesis-turned-friend Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) warns Strange to beware that the \”desecration of reality won\’t go unpunished.\” Strange claims that this was the only option -and he doesn\’t know what he\’s talking about and that he wasn\’t aiming that this should occur.
After the Marvel Studios logo drop that\’s affected by shards from erse Strange visits Wanda. Wanda believes he\’s visiting to discuss what she was doing on Westview — that is the events that transpired on that Disney+ series WandaVision -However, Strange admits that he requires her assistance in a particular area. \”What do you know about the multiverse?\” Strange asks Wanda. This Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer then launches into action mode, and we see America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) as well as Mordo fighting the chained Doctor Strange.
\”The greatest threat to our universe is you,\” Mordo states in a frightening way, just before his Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer introduces a villainous Strange who declares: \”Things just got out of hand.\” The darker form that is Doctor Strange also appeared in the non-canonical Disney+ animated series, What If …?. Could they be related to each other?
The behind-the-scenes, Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy director Sam Raimi serves as director on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and is working from the screenplay by Jade Halley Bartlett and Loki creator Michael Waldron. John Mathieson (Gladiator) is the cinematographer of the sequel Doctor Strange movie, Bob Murawski (Spider-Man trilogy) is the editor as is Danny Elfman (Avengers: Age of Ultron) as the composer of music. Marvel\’s Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige is the sole producer. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a creation by Marvel Studios, with its parent company Disney overseeing distribution across the world.
