# ElevenLabs Adds Direct SoundCloud Publishing for AI Music

ElevenLabs said on Thursday, November 5, 2026, that ElevenMusic users can now publish AI-generated songs directly to SoundCloud. The deal makes SoundCloud the first outside platform to receive ElevenMusic songs straight from the app.

## At a Glance

- ElevenMusic users can send finished AI tracks straight to SoundCloud without exporting, downloading and re-uploading the audio files themselves.
- SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers get three months of ElevenMusic Pro, which allows up to 1,000 song generations every month.
- ElevenLabs says people have already generated more than 25 million tracks with its music models since the first one launched.
- Songs sent through the new integration arrive on SoundCloud with a disclosure that names ElevenMusic as the source.

The integration cuts out a tedious step. Until now, an **ElevenMusic** song had to be exported, downloaded and uploaded to **SoundCloud** by hand. Only then could anyone hear it there.

SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers, new and existing, can claim the three-month trial through SoundCloud’s Member Benefits program. The plan also covers 500 stem splits and five custom styles or vocals per month. ElevenMusic normally charges **$9.99** a month for Pro, or **$7.99** a month on yearly billing. Free accounts get 25 songs and five downloads a day.

SoundCloud CEO Eliah Seton framed the deal around reach. He said in a statement:

“

By becoming the first platform to bring ElevenMusic creations directly to fans beyond its own ecosystem, we’re opening up new possibilities for artists to experiment, share their work, and build an audience.

ElevenLabs moved into music quickly. It released its first music model in 2025 and a prompt-based ElevenMusic app in April 2026. A month later came a model that switches genres mid-track and handles more complex vocals.

## SoundCloud keeps adding AI pipes

[SoundCloud](https://sqmagazine.co.uk/soundcloud-statistics/) has courted AI tools for a while. In January 2024, it partnered with Voice-Swap, Fadr and Soundful so their users could upload straight to the platform under a new AI tag.

Last month brought a deeper deal with Moises. Artists can pull eligible *SoundCloud tracks into Moises* for stem separation and remixing, then push the results back to their profiles. SoundCloud’s AI partners page also lists Google Flow Music and the remix platform Hook.

The ElevenLabs link is one-way by comparison, since it only sends songs out of ElevenMusic. Still, it fills the one gap Moises left: making a track from a prompt. Between the two partners, a SoundCloud artist can now generate, split, remix and post without touching a file manager.

The rules stay light. SoundCloud’s EU AI Act guidance encourages creators covered by EU law to describe tracks as “**[AI-generated or manipulated.](https://sqmagazine.co.uk/generative-ai-statistics/)**” Its policies also ban impersonating real people, with or without AI.

## Rivals are building AI exits

Most other services are heading the opposite way. Deezer is adding a toggle that filters **AI-generated music** out completely, and Bandcamp has banned AI tracks outright. Both moves treat AI music as something listeners should be able to avoid. Spotify and YouTube have leaned on labels instead, much like [YouTube’s automatic AI video labels](https://sqmagazine.co.uk/youtube-automatic-ai-video-labels/).

Spotify already works with ElevenLabs on AI-narrated audiobooks. On music, though, it has signed label partnerships for AI remix tools and has yet to name a model partner like ElevenLabs.

## The Bottom Line

That split makes SoundCloud the clearest test of whether a disclosure label is enough for listeners. The announcement leaves practical questions open. **Will directly published ElevenMusic tracks earn under SoundCloud’s artist payout programs?** **How visible will the disclosure be on a track page or in a playlist?**

Artist Pro subscribers who take the trial should assume every track sent this way will be publicly marked as ElevenMusic output. Creators in the EU should still add SoundCloud’s suggested “**AI-generated or manipulated**” wording to track descriptions. Anyone generating vocals that resemble a real singer risks the platform’s impersonation rules, whatever tool made the song.

The free trial runs for three months. When the first wave of trials lapses, SoundCloud will have its first real data on whether fans stream these songs or skip them.
