Editorial Standards and Values
Every piece published by SQ Magazine follows strict publishing principles.
We actively avoid pay-to-play coverage, undisclosed promotions, and misleading endorsements. Our news reporting, analysis, and statistics articles are grounded in verified sources, independent research, and expert review.
Across every format we publish, from breaking news to deep dives, our editorial values remain consistent: accuracy, integrity, relevance, and clarity.
Our Journey Forward
SQ Magazine started with one big idea: to make the “tech world” simple and useful for everyone. No fluff. Just real insights.
As technology and digital finance continue to evolve, we will expand our news coverage, statistical research, and analysis across cryptocurrency, blockchain, AI, cybersecurity, and software quality, while maintaining the editorial discipline our readers expect.
Ownership and Funding
SQ Magazine operates as a privately held, independent publication. Barry Elad founded the publication and leads its day-to-day editorial direction. We have not raised venture capital, accepted grants from any government or trade body, and do not hold financial relationships with the institutions, vendors, or platforms we cover.
We fund operations through display advertising and disclosed affiliate links within our software reviews. These commercial relationships sit entirely outside the editorial workflow, in line with our editorial independence policy: contributors and editors do not consult the commercial team about coverage decisions, and partner status, payment, or referral revenue do not influence our review scoring.
