David Attenborough narrates a British night out in new Cassetteboy spoof

Posted on Monday, 20 January by

In their latest satirical assassination, YouTube sensation Cassetteboy has turned its attention to British broadcast legend David Attenborough and removed him from his trademark wildlife environment into an altogether more frightening proposition – British nightclubs.

Iconic for being the face and voice of natural history documentaries for the past 60 years, Attenborough’s gentle yet authoritative tone on issues surrounding human nature and the mating process are catapulted into a backdrop of dirty nightclub scenes.

This is Attenborough as you’ve never heard him before:

The males are starting to compete for the favours of the females. They’re here to pull females with huge tits, these are called Booby Birds…the female then leaves him, she is seeking a man with bigger muscles and the male’s sexual organs are no bigger than a grain of salt.”

In an interview with us last year, Cassetteboy said: “I don’t think there’s anyone (we wouldn’t spoof). As long as you get the angle right you can make a joke about anything. The weak and the powerless are not good for satire, we want to be poking fun at the powerful people in society.”

We’ll wait and see whether David Attenborough agrees with their sentiment.
