The Inbetweeners Movie 2

The first teaser shot has surfaced for the eagerly-anticipated sequel to ‘The Inbetweeners Movie’ and shows Jay, Will, Neil and Simon yet again in holiday mode – this time at an amusement park.

The comedy sequel, which will once again be directed and written by series creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, started production in Australia last week and kick-started rumours that we’ll see what the boys get up to on their gap year.

The image came complete with an Ashes-inspired message that said:

“After another week of English embarrassments in Australia here are four more for you.”

Plot details are still sketchy at this point, though show creators have confirmed that the film will feature kangaroos, Australians and “possibly koalas”.

Whilst Emily Atack – who played Will’s long-term love interest Charlotte in the TV series – has confirmed she won’t be featuring in the film, Freddie Stroma, who appeared in the Harry Potter series as Cormac McLaggen, will join the cast.

The boys are back in town.
