Tinie Tempah UK Tour

After his long-awaited comeback proved to be less fruitful than many of us expected, Tinie Tempah’s year has hit another bump in the road with news that his UK tour – due to start in December 2013 – will be pushed back until March of next year.

Tinie has cited problems with the rehearsal schedule for his tour and believes that the show they’re able to put on next month isn’t up to the standard that his fans have come to expect. In a press release yesterday, it was said that decision to delay the tour until March/April has been made to guarantee a “mind-blowing, unmissable” show.

In a statement released yesterday, Tinie said:

Guys, I only think it’s right to tell you that after delivering Demonstration I feel I haven’t had enough time to prepare for the December Tour to make it the best it can be. So myself and management have decided to postpone it until April so I have enough time to rehearse all the new songs…”

In quite a mix-up from the dates that were originally announced, the shows that were due to take place in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds and Newcastle have been cancelled, the Birmingham LG Arena show will now be over two nights at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall, the Manchester Arena show will now be over two nights at O2 Apollo Manchester and a new dates has now been added in Brighton.

The rescheduled dates for Tinie Tempah’s tour in 2014 are as follows:

March 2014

25th & 26th: Wolverhampton Civic Hall (Moved from 16 Dec – Birmingham LG Arena)
28th & 29th: O2 Apollo Manchester (Moved from 05 Dec – Manchester Arena)
30th: London O2 Arena (Moved from 18 Dec)
31st: Brighton Centre (New show)

April 2014

2nd: Nottingham Capital FM Arena (Moved from 08 Dec)
4th: Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (Moved from 13 Dec)
6th: Bournemouth BIC (Moved From 15 Dec)
7th: Liverpool Echo Arena (Moved from 12 Dec)

Live Nation have insisted that all purchased tickets remain valid and that ticket sellers will be in touch shortly to arrange tickets for new dates/venues.

Is Tinie Tempah at risk of becoming the next Craig David?
