It’s been an incredible summer for local music and Brighton vocalist Elli Ingram continues to keep the positive vibes rolling on in Sussex with a cracking couple of covers that sees the Sussex singer pay homage to Kanye.

We’ve been huge admirers of Elli since she broke into our consciousness earlier this year and after a sensational cover of Labrinth’s ‘Earthquake’ went viral, we couldn’t wait to see what spin Elli had managed to put on a mash-up of Kanye’s ‘Lost in the World’ and ‘No Church in the Wild’, a track from 2011′s collaborative album with Jay-Z.

While Elli’s getting some serious attention with her unpredictably brilliant covers, it should be noted that her own material is proving itself as something special too. A live performance of her song ‘Intoxicated’ was also filmed earlier this year and judging by how that sounded, we can’t wait to hear more.
