Now that Arnold Schwarzenegger has finished his successful flirtation with the world of American politics, he’s back to doing what we all know he really does best – blasting the life out of bad guys on the big screen!

Arnie ended his stint as Governor of California in January last year and has picked up right where he left off in the film industry. ‘The Last Stand’ looks like a typical Schwarzenegger Hollywood blockbuster, filled with cars, guns and of course, his trademark terrible acting.

Directed by Kim Jee-Woon, ‘The Last Stand’ follows a drug lord who has just escaped from prison and is seeking to get back across the U.S. border into Mexico. The problem? 65 year old Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the role of Sheriff in a small town that stands between the criminal and his freedom.

Some things never change.

‘The Last Stand’ is due for release in 2013.
