Submotion Orchestra’s sound can only be described by a flurry of musical genres fused together: dub-step meets jazz meets trip-hop in deep bass-driven grooves and dense textures in a progressive live dub-step sound.

The 7-piece project are following up their superb debut “Finest Hour” this Autumn with a brand new album and have previously had two sell out UK tours, as well as venturing into Europe.

You could spend all day pulling out influences on the band, but to narrow down the task: Massive Attack, Burial, Gentleman’s Dub Club, MJ Cole, Flying Lotus and Orbital should give you a good idea.

Combine these guys with support from Belgian born Alix Depauw, the face behind production moniker Alix Perez, now regarded as one of the most ground-breaking and innovative producer-DJs of his generation, and you have a superb live show.
