PREVIEW: Don’t Flop @ The Haunt, 18th July

Posted on Monday, 16 July by

Online sensations Don’t Flop bring their burgeoning live events scene to Brighton this week, presenting a night of titanic Hip-Hop battles that’ll make the trash talk between Haye and Chisora look like playground banter.

For those that aren’t in the know, Don’t Flop is the UK’s largest Rap Battle league and since its foundation in 2008, has gone on to amass almost 20 million YouTube hits and played to tens of thousands of fans in their live clashes.

Having featured the likes of Sensa, Lunar C, Blizzard and SQ favourites Mark Grist and Rizzle Kicks, Don’t Flop have a reputation for showcasing slick rhymers before they hit the big time. Coming to The Haunt this week, Don’t Flop showcase a card including Gizmo Vs Pedro, Prince Kong Vs Mob Prob and Mad Hatter Vs Bleek.

Add to that a mouth-watering live set from Brighton rapper Ceezlin alongside Divine Rights and Concept of Thought, this should be a must-see for all Hip-Hop heads in Sussex.

Event open to over 18s only. Entry is £3 before 11pm, or £4 anytime after.

Doors open at 9pm and the show rolls on until late.
